Our goal is to create a stable, asset-backed, digital currency (non-crypto) to reward people and organizations for sustainable activities in the fight against climate change. While it’s nice to think that moral and ethical arguments would be enough to change people’s behavior around drivers of climate change, history shows that the only thing that really works is shifting economics.
In a nutshell, when consumers engage in sustainable behavior (use solar panels, drive electric vehicles, walk or bike instead of drive, etc) they will generate Quros (the currency) that can then be spent with partners that accept the currency in an online marketplace. Long term goal is to get Quro accepted by large economies - corporations, cities, governments.
Up to date we have raised 600k in seed and are looking to have the most talented early team members on board to work with an exciting product and an experienced team behind. Join us!
